Four million children live in poverty across the UK. For these families, Christmas is a luxury they just can't afford.
That's why Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is supporting the official charity of Radio City 96.7, Cash for Kids, in its Mission Christmas - to ensure every child on Merseyside has a present to open this Christmas day.
The charity is asking everyone to buy just one extra present to help make a difference to children in our region.
It needs new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0 to 18 years, which you can donate at any of the following Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service fire stations until Sunday, December 18.
* Southport Community Fire Station, Manchester Road, Southport PR9 0LH
* Formby Community Fire Station, Church Road, Formby L37 3NH
* Bootle & Netherton Community Fire Station, Fleetwoods Lane, Liverpool L29 1YB
* Kirkby Community Fire Station, Webster Drive, Kirkby L32 8SJ
* Huyton Community Fire Station, Huyton Lane, Huyton L36 7XG
* St Helens Community Fire Station, Parr Stocks Road, St Helens WA9 1NU
* Old Swan Community Fire Station, 628 Queens Drive, Liverpool L13 5UD
* Speke & Garston Community Fire Station, Speke Hall Avenue, Liverpool L24 1UY
* Upton Community Fire Station, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, CH49 0UF
* Bromborough Community Fire Station, Dock Road South, Bebington CH62 4SQ
You can be sure that every gift donation will benefit a local child.
