Ladies Day at Aintree marks the most fashionable day in Liverpool.


Thousands of racegoers are expected to attend the second day of the Grand National Festival.

Claire Illingworth and Ainsley Briscoe were officially crowned the winners of the Grand National Ladies Day Style Awards at Aintree racecourse today.


Claire, wore a dress from Lavish Alice and Ainsley wore a suit from ASOS. The pair were clearly overwhelmed as they were crowned the winners of the prestigious award.


Hundreds of men and women spent the first part of their racing day queuing to get their pictures taken, so their outfits could be assessed by the judging panel. From gorgeous bold dresses to pretty tailored suits, it's safe to say we were spoilt for choice.
